Fairfield Farmers’ Market be held at Melbourne Innovation Centre (MIC) on Saturday 17 March. MIC is located at 2 Wingrove Street, opposite Alphington train station and just 1km down the road from the markets original location. The site is accessible via public transport (bus route 508), bike path along Darebin Parklands and there is also limited parking available.
Fairfield Farmers Market has been managed by Melbourne Farmers Markets since mid-2012, the market was formerly held at Fairfield Primary School which is undergoing building works and upgrades to the schools netball courts and facilities.
From Saturday 21st April, Fairfield FM will relocate to Carlton North Primary School, which from April, will operate fortnightly on the first and third Saturday of the month ongoing.
We will be launching Alphington FM, your new weekly farmers’ market held each and every Sunday, on Sunday 6 May. Read more about the revised launch date here.
