Farmwall have a plan to transform Melbourne into a food producing ecosystem, but they need your help! The Alphington based social enterprise make small-scale, vertical, edible gardens, that grow herbs and microgreens in urban cafés using aquaponic production methods. In practice, this will eliminate food packaging, reduce food waste and transport, as well as producing local, nutrient rich food that engages the urban community. Farmwall have launched a crowdfunding campaign to help them build Farmwalls inside Melbourne’s cafes and restaurants. Go check it out and lend your support!
