Melbourne Farmers Markets have two passes to the Women of the Land exhibition at Melbourne Museum to give away! The exhibition is a collaboration between Her Place Women’s Museum and The Invisible Farmer project, the largest ever study of Australian women on the land.
The exhibition celebrates the contribution that rural women have made to farming and rural communities. We have seen many examples of this in the wonderful women that are a part of the MFM community. Stallholders including Anne-Marie and Carla from Holy Goat Cheese, and Di from Di’s Rhubarb show the dedicated and vital role that rural women play for the land and community, as well as the excellence they have achieved.
Featuring the history of rural women and stories from contemporary women farmers, the installation runs until 26 November 2017.
To win one of our passes, send us an email and let us know why you would like to see the exhibition!
